Angelina Sookoo-Bobb
Angelina Gracy Sookoo-Bobb graduated from Hugh Wooding Law School on the Principal’s Honour Roll in October 2010. She obtained her LLB from the University of The West Indies (Cave Hill Campus) in June 2008. Angelina was appointed a Notary Public in October 2017 by the Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
She is called to the Bars of Trinidad & Tobago (her country of birth) and Saint Kitts & Nevis. She has been practising as a lawyer in Saint Kitts & Nevis since May 2011, and has a proven track record. She appears in the Magistrate’s Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Judicial Committee of the Privy Council to represent her client’s interests.
Angelina is one of the few attorneys at law in the OECS practising in the niche area of election law. She has carved a name for herself in complex precedent building litigation matters either as advocate or instructing counsel. She is also a passionate advocate for human rights, in particular the abolition of the death penalty in the Greater Caribbean and the empowerment of women and girls.

Ekta Nirvana Rampersad
After graduating from the University of Wolverhampton with her LL.B (Hons) in 2001, Ekta Rampersad went on to complete her Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law Gray’s Inn, where she earned her Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies in 2002.
Later, Ms. Rampersad read for her Masters of Law (LLM) and graduated with Honours from the Cardiff University in 2003, before earning a Distinction in MSc Construction Management from the Reading University in 2007.
